^{民 31:1} 耶和华吩咐摩西说： ^{民 31:2} “你要在米甸人身上报以色列人的仇，后来要归到你列祖(原文作“本民”)那里。” ^{民 31:3} 摩西吩咐百姓说：“要从你们中间叫人带兵器出去攻击米甸，好在米甸人身上为耶和华报仇。 ^{民 31:4} 从以色列众支派中每支派要打发一千人去打仗。” ^{民 31:5} 于是从以色列千万人中，每支派交出一千人，共一万二千人，带着兵器预备打仗。 ^{民 31:6} 摩西就打发每支派的一千人去打仗，并打发祭司以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈同去，非尼哈手里拿着圣所的器皿和吹大声的号筒。 ^{民 31:7} 他们就照耶和华所吩咐摩西的，与米甸人打仗，杀了所有的男丁。 ^{民 31:8} 在所杀的人中，杀了米甸的五王，就是以未、利金、苏珥、户珥、利巴，又用刀杀了比珥的儿子巴兰。 ^{民 31:9} 以色列人掳了米甸人的妇女孩子，并将他们的牲畜、羊群和所有的财物都夺了来，当作掳物。 ^{民 31:10} 又用火焚烧他们所住的城邑和所有的营寨。 ^{民 31:11} 把一切所夺的、所掳的，连人带牲畜都带了去； ^{民 31:12} 将所掳的人，所夺的牲畜、财物，都带到摩押平原，在约但河边与耶利哥相对的营盘，交给摩西和祭司以利亚撒，并以色列的会众。 ^{民 31:13} 摩西和祭司以利亚撒，并会众一切的首领，都出到营外迎接他们。 ^{民 31:14} 摩西向打仗回来的军长，就是千夫长、百夫长发怒。 ^{民 31:15} 对他们说：“你们要存留这一切妇女的活命吗？ ^{民 31:16} 这些妇女因巴兰的计谋，叫以色列人在毗珥的事上得罪耶和华，以致耶和华的会众遭遇瘟疫。 ^{民 31:17} 所以，你们要把一切的男孩和所有已嫁的女子，都杀了。 ^{民 31:18} 但女孩子中，凡没有出嫁的，你们都可以存留她的活命。 ^{民 31:19} 你们要在营外驻扎七日，凡杀了人的，和一切摸了被杀的，并你们所掳来的人口，第三日，第七日，都要洁净自己， ^{民 31:20} 也要因一切的衣服、皮物、山羊毛织的物，和各样的木器，洁净自己。” ^{民 31:21} 祭司以利亚撒对打仗回来的兵丁说：“耶和华所吩咐摩西律法中的条例乃是这样： ^{民 31:22} 金、银、铜、铁、锡、铅， ^{民 31:23} 凡能见火的，你们要叫它经火，就为洁净，然而还要用除污秽的水洁净它；凡不能见火的，你们要叫它过水。 ^{民 31:24} 第七日，你们要洗衣服，就为洁净，然后可以进营。” ^{民 31:25} 耶和华晓谕摩西说： ^{民 31:26} “你和祭司以利亚撒，并会众的各族长，要计算所掳来的人口，和牲畜的总数。 ^{民 31:27} 把所掳来的，分作两半：一半归与出去打仗的精兵，一半归与全会众。 ^{民 31:28} 又要从出去打仗所得的人口、牛、驴、羊群中，每五百取一，作为贡物奉给耶和华。 ^{民 31:29} 从他们一半之中，要取出来交给祭司以利亚撒，作为耶和华的举祭。 ^{民 31:30} 从以色列人的一半之中，就是从人口、牛、驴、羊群、各样牲畜中，每五十取一，交给看守耶和华帐幕的利未人。” ^{民 31:31} 于是摩西和祭司以利亚撒，照耶和华所吩咐摩西的行了。 ^{民 31:32} 除了兵丁所夺的财物以外，所掳来的：羊六十七万五千只； ^{民 31:33} 牛七万二千只； ^{民 31:34} 驴六万一千匹； ^{民 31:35} 女人共三万二千口，都是没有出嫁的。 ^{民 31:36} 出去打仗之人的分，就是他们所得的那一半，共计羊三十三万七千五百只， ^{民 31:37} 从其中归耶和华为贡物的，有六百七十五只； ^{民 31:38} 牛三万六千只，从其中归耶和华为贡物的，有七十二只； ^{民 31:39} 驴三万零五百匹，从其中归耶和华为贡物的，有六十一匹； ^{民 31:40} 人一万六千口，从其中归耶和华的，有三十二口。 ^{民 31:41} 摩西把贡物，就是归与耶和华的举祭，交给祭司以利亚撒，是照耶和华所吩咐摩西的。 ^{民 31:42} 以色列人所得的那一半，就是摩西从打仗的人取来分给他们的 ^{民 31:43} (会众的那一半有，羊三十三万七千五百只； ^{民 31:44} 牛三万六千只； ^{民 31:45} 驴三万零五百匹； ^{民 31:46} 人一万六千口)。 ^{民 31:47} 无论是人口，是牲畜，摩西每五十取一，交给看守耶和华帐幕的利未人，是照耶和华所吩咐摩西的。 ^{民 31:48} 带领千军的各军长，就是千夫长、百夫长都近前来见摩西， ^{民 31:49} 对他说：“仆人权下的兵，已经计算总数，并不短少一人。 ^{民 31:50} 如今我们将各人所得的金器，就是脚链子、镯子、打印的戒指、耳环、手钏，都送来为耶和华的供物，好在耶和华面前，为我们的生命赎罪。” ^{民 31:51} 摩西和祭司以利亚撒就收了他们的金子，都是打成的器皿。 ^{民 31:52} 千夫长、百夫长所献给耶和华为举祭的金子，共有一万六千七百五十舍客勒。 ^{民 31:53} 各兵丁都为自己夺了财物。 ^{民 31:54} 摩西和祭司以利亚撒收了千夫长、百夫长的金子，就带进会幕，在耶和华面前作为以色列人的记念。 (和合本 CUV)

^{Num 31:1} And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, ^{Num 31:2} Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites, afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people. ^{Num 31:3} And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian. ^{Num 31:4} Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war. ^{Num 31:5} So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war. ^{Num 31:6} And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand. ^{Num 31:7} And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males. ^{Num 31:8} And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian, Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword. ^{Num 31:9} And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods. ^{Num 31:10} And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire. ^{Num 31:11} And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts. ^{Num 31:12} And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho. ^{Num 31:13} And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp. ^{Num 31:14} And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle. ^{Num 31:15} And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? ^{Num 31:16} Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD. ^{Num 31:17} Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. ^{Num 31:18} But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. ^{Num 31:19} And do ye abide without the camp seven days, whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day. ^{Num 31:20} And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats' hair, and all things made of wood. ^{Num 31:21} And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses; ^{Num 31:22} Only the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead, ^{Num 31:23} Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean, nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation, and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water. ^{Num 31:24} And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp. ^{Num 31:25} And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, ^{Num 31:26} Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou, and Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation, ^{Num 31:27} And divide the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation, ^{Num 31:28} And levy a tribute unto the Lord of the men of war which went out to battle, one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep, ^{Num 31:29} Take it of their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave offering of the LORD. ^{Num 31:30} And of the children of Israel's half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD. ^{Num 31:31} And Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the LORD commanded Moses. ^{Num 31:32} And the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand sheep, ^{Num 31:33} And threescore and twelve thousand beeves, ^{Num 31:34} And threescore and one thousand asses, ^{Num 31:35} And thirty and two thousand persons in all, of women that had not known man by lying with him. ^{Num 31:36} And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in Number three hundred thousand and seven and thirty thousand and five hundred sheep, ^{Num 31:37} And the LORD's tribute of the sheep was six hundred and threescore and fifteen. ^{Num 31:38} And the beeves were thirty and six thousand; of which the LORD's tribute was threescore and twelve. ^{Num 31:39} And the asses were thirty thousand and five hundred; of which the LORD's tribute was threescore and one. ^{Num 31:40} And the persons were sixteen thousand; of which the LORD's tribute was thirty and two persons. ^{Num 31:41} And Moses gave the tribute, which was the LORD's heave offering, unto Eleazar the priest, as the LORD commanded Moses. ^{Num 31:42} And of the children of Israel's half, which Moses divided from the men that warred, ^{Num 31:43} (Now the half that pertained unto the congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred sheep, ^{Num 31:44} And thirty and six thousand beeves, ^{Num 31:45} And thirty thousand asses and five hundred, ^{Num 31:46} And sixteen thousand persons;) ^{Num 31:47} Even of the children of Israel's half, Moses took one portion of fifty, both of man and of beast, and gave them unto the Levites, which kept the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses. ^{Num 31:48} And the officers which were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses, ^{Num 31:49} And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us. ^{Num 31:50} We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD. ^{Num 31:51} And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of them, even all wrought jewels. ^{Num 31:52} And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels. ^{Num 31:53} (For the men of war had taken spoil, every man for himself.) ^{Num 31:54} And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tabernacle of the congregation, for a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD.
