^{耶 16:1} 耶和华的话又临到我说： ^{耶 16:2} “你在这地方不可娶妻，生儿养女。” ^{耶 16:3} 因为论到在这地方所生的儿女，又论到在这国中生养他们的父母，耶和华如此说： ^{耶 16:4} “他们必死得甚苦，无人哀哭，必不得葬埋；必在地上象粪土；必被刀剑和饥荒灭绝；他们的尸首必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物。” ^{耶 16:5} 耶和华如此说：“不要进入丧家，不要去哀哭，也不要为他们悲伤，因我已将我的平安、慈爱、怜悯，从这百姓夺去了。这是耶和华说的。 ^{耶 16:6} 连大带小，都必在这地死亡，不得葬埋。人必不为他们哀哭，不用刀划身，也不使头光秃。 ^{耶 16:7} 他们有丧事，人必不为他们掰饼，因死人安慰他们；他们丧父丧母，人也不给他们一杯酒安慰他们。 ^{耶 16:8} “你不可进入宴乐的家，与他们同坐吃喝。 ^{耶 16:9} 因为万军之耶和华以色列的　神如此说：你们还活着的日子在你们眼前，我必使欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，从这地方止息了。 ^{耶 16:10} “你将这一切的话，指示这百姓，他们问你说：‘耶和华为什么说，要降这大灾祸攻击我们呢？我们有什么罪孽呢？我们向耶和华我们的　神犯了什么罪呢？’ ^{耶 16:11} 你就对他们说：‘耶和华说：因为你们列祖离弃我，随从别神，事奉敬拜，不遵守我的律法。 ^{耶 16:12} 而且你们行恶，比你们列祖更甚；因为各人随从自己顽梗的恶心行事，甚至不听从我。 ^{耶 16:13} 所以我必将你们从这地赶出，直赶到你们和你们列祖素不认识的地。你们在那里必昼夜事奉别神，因为我必不向你们施恩。’” ^{耶 16:14} 耶和华说：“日子将到，人必不再指着那领以色列人从埃及地上来之永生的耶和华起誓， ^{耶 16:15} 却要指着那领以色列人从北方之地，并赶他们到的各国上来之永生的耶和华起誓，并且我要领他们再入我从前赐给他们列祖之地。” ^{耶 16:16} 耶和华说：“我要召许多打鱼的，把以色列人打上来；然后我要召许多打猎的，从各山上、各冈上、各石穴中，猎取他们。 ^{耶 16:17} 因我的眼目察看他们的一切行为，他们不能在我面前遮掩；他们的罪孽，也不能在我眼前隐藏。 ^{耶 16:18} 我先要加倍报应他们的罪孽和罪恶，因为他们用可憎之尸，玷污我的地土，又用可厌之物，充满我的产业。” ^{耶 16:19} 耶和华啊！你是我的力量，是我的保障；在苦难之日，是我的避难所。列国人必从地极来到你这里，说：“我们列祖所承受的，不过是虚假，是虚空无益之物。 ^{耶 16:20} 人岂可为自己制造神呢？其实这不是神。” ^{耶 16:21} 耶和华说：“我要使他们知道，就是这一次使他们知道我的手和我的能力。他们就知道我的名是耶和华了。” (和合本 CUV)

^{Jer 16:1} The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying, ^{Jer 16:2} Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place. ^{Jer 16:3} For thus saith the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land; ^{Jer 16:4} They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth, and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. ^{Jer 16:5} For thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them, for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the LORD, even lovingkindness and mercies. ^{Jer 16:6} Both the great and the small shall die in this land, they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them, ^{Jer 16:7} Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother. ^{Jer 16:8} Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink. ^{Jer 16:9} For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride. ^{Jer 16:10} And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God? ^{Jer 16:11} Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; ^{Jer 16:12} And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me, ^{Jer 16:13} Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour. ^{Jer 16:14} Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; ^{Jer 16:15} But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them, and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers. ^{Jer 16:16} Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. ^{Jer 16:17} For mine eyes are upon all their ways, they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes. ^{Jer 16:18} And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things. ^{Jer 16:19} O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. ^{Jer 16:20} Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods? ^{Jer 16:21} Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD.
