^{赛 48:1} 雅各家，称为以色列名下，从犹大水源出来的，当听我言。你们指着耶和华的名起誓，提说以色列的　神，却不凭诚实，不凭公义。 ^{赛 48:2} (他们自称为圣城的人，所倚靠的是名为万军之耶和华以色列的　神。) ^{赛 48:3} 主说：“早先的事我从古时说明，已经出了我的口，也是我所指示的，我忽然行作，事便成就。 ^{赛 48:4} 因为我素来知道你是顽梗的，你的颈项是铁的，你的额是铜的， ^{赛 48:5} 所以我从古时将这事给你说明，在未成以先指示你。免得你说：‘这些事是我的偶像所行的，是我雕刻的偶像和我铸造的偶像所命定的。’ ^{赛 48:6} “你已经听见，现在要看见这一切，你不说明吗？从今以后，我将新事，就是你所不知道的隐密事指示你。 ^{赛 48:7} 这事是现今造的，并非从古就有；在今日以先，你也未曾听见。免得你说：‘这事我早已知道了。’ ^{赛 48:8} 你未曾听见，未曾知道，你的耳朵从来未曾开通。我原知道你行事极其诡诈，你自从出胎以来，便称为悖逆的。 ^{赛 48:9} “我为我的名，暂且忍怒；为我的颂赞，向你容忍，不将你剪除。 ^{赛 48:10} 我熬炼你，却不象熬炼银子；你在苦难的炉中，我拣选你。 ^{赛 48:11} 我为自己的缘故必行这事，我焉能使我的名被亵渎？我必不将我的荣耀归给假神。 ^{赛 48:12} “雅各，我所选召的以色列啊！当听我言：我是耶和华，我是首先的，也是末后的。 ^{赛 48:13} 我手立了地的根基，我右手铺张诸天，我一招呼便都立住。 ^{赛 48:14} “你们都当聚集而听，他们(或作“偶像”)内中谁说过这些事？‘耶和华所爱的人，必向巴比伦行他所喜悦的事，他的膀臂也要加在迦勒底人身上。’ ^{赛 48:15} 惟有我曾说过，我又选召他，领他来，他的道路就必亨通。 ^{赛 48:16} “你们要就近我来听这话：我从起头并未曾在隐密处说话，自从有这事，我就在那里。现在主耶和华差遣我和他的灵来(或作“耶和华和他的灵差遣我来”)。” ^{赛 48:17} 耶和华你的救赎主，以色列的圣者如此说：“我是耶和华你的　神，教训你使你得益处，引导你所当行的路。 ^{赛 48:18} “甚愿你素来听从我的命令，你的平安就如河水；你的公义就如海浪。 ^{赛 48:19} 你的后裔也必多如海沙；你腹中所生的也必多如沙粒。他的名在我面前必不剪除，也不灭绝。” ^{赛 48:20} 你们要从巴比伦出来，从迦勒底人中逃脱，以欢呼的声音传扬说：“耶和华救赎了他的仆人雅各！”你们要将这事宣扬到地极。 ^{赛 48:21} 耶和华引导他们经过沙漠，他们并不干渴，他为他们使水从磐石而流，分裂磐石水就涌出。 ^{赛 48:22} 耶和华说：“恶人必不得平安。” (和合本 CUV)

^{Isa 48:1} Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness. ^{Isa 48:2} For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name. ^{Isa 48:3} I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass. ^{Isa 48:4} Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass; ^{Isa 48:5} I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee, lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them. ^{Isa 48:6} Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. ^{Isa 48:7} They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them. ^{Isa 48:8} Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened, for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb. ^{Isa 48:9} For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off. ^{Isa 48:10} Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. ^{Isa 48:11} For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it, for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. ^{Isa 48:12} Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. ^{Isa 48:13} Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens, when I call unto them, they stand up together. ^{Isa 48:14} All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The LORD hath loved him, he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans. ^{Isa 48:15} I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him, I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous. ^{Isa 48:16} Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I, and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me. ^{Isa 48:17} Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. ^{Isa 48:18} O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea, ^{Isa 48:19} Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me. ^{Isa 48:20} Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob. ^{Isa 48:21} And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts, he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them, he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out. ^{Isa 48:22} There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.
