^{Is 40:24} Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown, yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth, and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble. (KJV)

Scarcely^, have they been planted, Scarcely^, have they been sown, Scarcely^, has their stock taken root in the earth, But He merely blows on them, and they wither, And the storm carries them away like stubble. (NASB)
