^{代下 28:23} 他祭祀攻击他的大马色之神，说：“因为亚兰王的神帮助他们，我也献祭与他，他好帮助我。”但那些神使他和以色列众人败亡了。 (CUVS)

^{2 Chr 28:23} For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which smote him, and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel. (KJV)

For he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus which had defeated him, and said, `Because the gods of the kings of Aram helped them, I will sacrifice to them that they may help me.` But they became the downfall of him and all Israel. (NASB)
