^{代下 25:16} 先知与王说话的时候，王对他说：“谁立你作王的谋士呢？你住口吧！为何找打呢？”先知就止住了，又说：“你行这事不听从我的劝戒，我知道　神定意要灭你。” (CUVS)

^{2 Chr 25:16} And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, Art thou made of the king's counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the prophet forbare, and said, I know that God hath determined to destroy thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counsel. (KJV)

As he was talking with him, the king said to him, `Have we appointed you a royal counselor? Stop! Why should you be struck down?` Then the prophet stopped and said, `I know that God has planned to destroy you, because you have done this and have not listened to my counsel.` (NASB)
