^{代下 11:1} 罗波安来到耶路撒冷，招聚犹大家和便雅悯家，共十八万人，都是挑选的战士，要与以色列人争战，好将国夺回再归自己。 ^{代下 11:2} 但耶和华的话临到神人示玛雅说： ^{代下 11:3} “你去告诉所罗门的儿子犹大王罗波安，和住犹大便雅悯的以色列众人说， ^{代下 11:4} 耶和华如此说：‘你们不可上去与你们的弟兄争战，各归各家去吧！因为这事出于我。’”众人就听从耶和华的话，归回不去与耶罗波安争战。 ^{代下 11:5} 罗波安住在耶路撒冷，在犹大地修筑城邑。 ^{代下 11:6} 为保障修筑伯利恒、以坦、提哥亚、 ^{代下 11:7} 伯夙、梭哥、亚杜兰、 ^{代下 11:8} 迦特、玛利沙、西弗、 ^{代下 11:9} 亚多莱音、拉吉、亚西加、 ^{代下 11:10} 琐拉、亚雅仑、希伯仑。这都是犹大和便雅悯的坚固城。 ^{代下 11:11} 罗波安又坚固各处的保障，在其中安置军长，又预备下粮食、油、酒。 ^{代下 11:12} 他在各城里预备盾牌和枪，且使城极其坚固。犹大和便雅悯都归了他。 ^{代下 11:13} 以色列全地的祭司和利未人，都从四方来归罗波安。 ^{代下 11:14} 利未人撇下他们的郊野和产业，来到犹大与耶路撒冷，是因耶罗波安和他的儿子拒绝他们，不许他们供祭司职分事奉耶和华。 ^{代下 11:15} 耶罗波安为邱坛、为鬼魔(原文作“公山羊”)、为自己所铸造的牛犊，设立祭司。 ^{代下 11:16} 以色列各支派中，凡立定心意寻求耶和华以色列　神的，都随从利未人，来到耶路撒冷祭祀耶和华他们列祖的　神。 ^{代下 11:17} 这样，就坚固犹大国，使所罗门的儿子罗波安强盛三年，因为他们三年遵行大卫和所罗门的道。 ^{代下 11:18} 罗波安娶大卫儿子耶利摩的女儿玛哈拉为妻，又娶耶西儿子以利押的女儿亚比孩为妻。 ^{代下 11:19} 从她生了几个儿子，就是耶乌施、示玛利雅、撒罕。 ^{代下 11:20} 后来又娶押沙龙的女儿玛迦(十三章二节作“乌列的女儿米该雅”)，从她生了亚比雅、亚太、细撒、示罗密。 ^{代下 11:21} 罗波安娶十八个妻，立六十个妾，生二十八个儿子，六十个女儿。他却爱押沙龙的女儿玛迦，比爱别的妻妾更甚。 ^{代下 11:22} 罗波安立玛迦的儿子亚比雅作太子，在他弟兄中为首，因为想要立他接续作王。 ^{代下 11:23} 罗波安办事精明，使他众子分散在犹大和便雅悯全地各坚固城里，又赐他们许多粮食，为他们多寻妻子。 (和合本 CUV)

^{2Chr 11:1} And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam. ^{2Chr 11:2} But the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying, ^{2Chr 11:3} Speak unto Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying, ^{2Chr 11:4} Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren, return every man to his house, for this thing is done of me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam. ^{2Chr 11:5} And Rehoboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and built cities for defence in Judah. ^{2Chr 11:6} He built even Bethlehem, and Etam, and Tekoa, ^{2Chr 11:7} And Bethzur, and Shoco, and Adullam, ^{2Chr 11:8} And Gath, and Mareshah, and Ziph, ^{2Chr 11:9} And Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah, ^{2Chr 11:10} And Zorah, and Aijalon, and Hebron, which are in Judah and in Benjamin fenced cities. ^{2Chr 11:11} And he fortified the strong holds, and put captains in them, and store of victual, and of oil and wine. ^{2Chr 11:12} And in every several city he put shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side. ^{2Chr 11:13} And the priests and the Levites that were in all Israel resorted to him out of all their coasts. ^{2Chr 11:14} For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem, for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest's office unto the LORD, ^{2Chr 11:15} And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made. ^{2Chr 11:16} And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers. ^{2Chr 11:17} So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years, for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon. ^{2Chr 11:18} And Rehoboam took him Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David to wife, and Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse; ^{2Chr 11:19} Which bare him children; Jeush, and Shamariah, and Zaham. ^{2Chr 11:20} And after her he took Maachah the daughter of Absalom; which bare him Abijah, and Attai, and Ziza, and Shelomith. ^{2Chr 11:21} And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines, (for he took eighteen wives, and threescore concubines; and begat twenty and eight sons, and threescore daughters.) ^{2Chr 11:22} And Rehoboam made Abijah the son of Maachah the chief, to be ruler among his brethren, for he thought to make him king. ^{2Chr 11:23} And he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his children throughout all the countries of Judah and Benjamin, unto every fenced city, and he gave them victual in abundance.
