^{彼前 4:6} 为此，就是死人也曾有福音传给他们，要叫他们的肉体按着人受审判，他们的灵性却靠　神活着。 (CUVS)

^{1 Pet 4:6} For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. (KJV)

For the gospel has for this purpose been preached even to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they may live in the spirit according to thewill of God. (NASB)
