^{赛 55:10} “雨雪从天而降，并不返回，却滋润地土，使地上发芽结实，使撒种的有种，使要吃的有粮。 (CUVS)

^{Is 55:10} For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater, (KJV)

`For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without^, watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; (NASB)
譬諸雨雪、自天而降、不返於上、潤澤士壤、使之萌芽結實、以種與播者、以糧與食者、 (CUVC)

^{赛 55:11} 我口所出的话，也必如此，决不徒然返回，却要成就我所喜悦的，在我发他去成就的事上(“发他去成就”或作“所命定”)必然亨通。 (CUVS)

^{Is 55:11} So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth, it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (KJV)

So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without^, accomplishing what I desire, And without succeedingin the matter for which I sent it. (NASB)
