^{代上 28:2} 大卫王就站起来，说：“我的弟兄，我的百姓啊！你们当听我言。我心里本想建造殿宇，安放耶和华的约柜，作为我　神的脚凳，我已经预备建造的材料。 (CUVS)

^{1 Chr 28:2} Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people, As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building, (KJV)

Then King David rose to his feet and said, `Listen to me, my brethren and my people; I had intended to build a permanent home for the ark of the covenant of the LORD and for the footstool^, of our God. So I had made preparations to buildit. (NASB)
